Practical Information

The abbey doors open at 7:30 PM for the Mont Saint-Michel Nocturnes tour. Entry to the tour is possible until 11:00 PM, so you can arrive at any time you wish within this window (between 7:30 PM and 11:00 PM). The monument closes at midnight. We highly recommend you come and enjoy the show once night falls!

Parking is available near Mont Saint-Michel, at a place called La Caserne. You can walk to Mont Saint-Michel or take a shuttle that drops you off at the foot of Mont Saint-Michel (every 15 minutes, departing from the car parks). Parking is paid, but the shuttles are free. “Chèques vacances” are not accepted for payment. Only credit card, cash, and cheque payments will be accepted.

Upon presentation of valid proof:

• Unemployed or RSA beneficiaries
• Youth aged 7 to 17
• Students
• Holders of “Passion Monuments” and “Grand Site” passes
• CMN (Centre des Monuments Nationaux) and EPMSM (Public Establishment of Mont Saint-Michel) staff
• Groups of 10 people minimum
• Disabled individuals and their accompanying person –

The group rate applies to groups of 10 people minimum. It is available only by advance reservation via email: contact@nocturnes-montsaintmichel.fr

The Nocturnes take place in the heart of the Abbey, at the summit of Mont Saint-Michel, and include several staircases throughout the tour and for access to the Abbey. This tour is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

We advise you to purchase your tickets in advance on our website. However, an on-site ticket office is available.

Tickets for children under 7 are free; however, it is still necessary to reserve them and present proof during ticket inspection.

There are no combined tickets for daytime visits and evening Nocturnes. Therefore, it is essential to book a specific ticket for the Mont Saint-Michel Nocturnes, “Rêve de Lune.”

Tickets for the Mont Saint-Michel Nocturnes are neither refundable or exchangeable.

Dogs and all other animals are prohibited within the abbey of Mont Saint-Michel.

You cannot bring strollers inside the abbey.

Tripods and professional equipment are not permitted.

Bags are accepted but are subject to a search at the entrance to ensure they do not contain prohibited and/or dangerous items.

Unfortunately, if tickets are no longer available online, it means we are fully booked for that evening. Therefore, there is no point in coming on-site. In this case, please plan your visit for another evening.
